The homeless

Zurich's homeless are particularly hard hit by winter. Yet, many shelters are closed on weekends or are only open for a few hours. This makes it all the more important that the winter shelter remains open on weekends to provide shelter from the cold. People in need enjoy a short break to catch their breath, access a computer, shower, or wash their clothes. For some, it's a psychological respite: to find some peace and quiet and regain their strength. We urgently need volunteers who would give their precious time to this cause.
