Whether it's for the Sharing Saturday collection in supermarkets, sorting food, or preparing emergency food aid bags, we need you! Without the help of volunteers, our mission would be impossible. Sharing Saturday takes place twice a year, in June and November. The goal is to distribute bags to customers in partner stores, who can then purchase food to support Sharing. In 2021, the events were exceptional, collecting 201 tons and 213 tons of produce respectively, with the mobilization of more than 2,400 volunteers in total. Following Sharing Saturday, food sorting takes four to six weeks before being redistributed.

Volunteer Hours: Friday, November 28, 2025: 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM, and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM Saturday, November 29, 2025: 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM, 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM, and 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM The volunteer hours are freely selectable. Location: In more than 90 supermarkets in the canton of Geneva. Procedure: Email confirmation of time slots and locations (brands) with volunteers Welcome of volunteers by the coordinator on the day of the intervention Welcome, information, and distribution of shopping bags to the brand's customers by volunteers Storage of goods donated by customers of partner brands by volunteers Introduction of activities: The volunteer welcomes customers by offering them a shopping bag and directs them to essential products The volunteer collects the shopping bags and donated products and separates them into food and hygiene products, placing them in the designated racks Supervision: Welcome and communication with volunteers by the store manager. Tasks: Welcome and offer shopping bags to customers Collect shopping bags Receive food Storage and separate received products Requirements: Smile.
