mainly provides organizations

Table Suisse primarily serves non-profit organizations. Organizations that process food themselves and/or distribute it to their clients are also considered. Organizations such as soup kitchens, for example, serve people affected by poverty or in need, those who receive little or no financial assistance from the government, or who have significant food needs. Table Suisse collects surplus food from donors and distributes it to non-profit organizations. Volunteer time: Between 7 and 8 hours. Supervision: In the morning (between 7 and 8 a.m., depending on the region), the volunteers are welcomed by the regional manager, who presents the day's schedule. They then set off on their rounds with a volunteer or a person in civil service. Tasks: The first thing the volunteers do in the morning is load the warehouse products into the vehicle. Then, they set off on their rounds in the refrigerated vehicle provided by Table Suisse. This involves picking up unsold food from various stores and bringing it to the charities. Finally, they return to the warehouse before unloading and cleaning the vehicle. Prerequisites: No previous experience is necessary. The driver must hold a Category B driving license. Volunteers must be in good physical condition: You will be loading and unloading relatively heavy boxes all day.
