All exchange rates are displayed in real time. This way, you always know exactly what the exchange rate will be for your foreign transfer. Depending on the destination country, the requirements for a transaction vary. It is therefore essential to ensure that the recipient has an account in the target currency. How to convert into foreign currencies GCHB makes it easier to make payments in foreign currencies with the GCHB FX-EQUI feature (PDF, 96 KB). This feature allows you to specify the desired transfer amount in your local currency, i.e., Swiss francs, and then simply select the target currency. The feature then calculates the amount and debits the payment account accordingly. With this service, GCHB ensures that both parties always benefit from attractive exchange rates, regardless of the recipient's country or the final financial institution. The amount is recorded accurately and immediately, as it arrives at its destination already in the target currency. This service is easy to use with a GCHB account when making a digital transfer.
