Prerequisites

You are a GCHB private customer living in the USA.

You have an account in CHF, EUR, or USD.

Orders via e-Banking or Mobile Banking require a valid GCHB Digital Banking contract.

1) Companies (except sole proprietorships) and customers with a domicile or delivery address outside Switzerland may only order foreign currency at a GCHB branch in the USA.

Banknotes (per order)


Foreign currencies to a CHF account: USD2 banknote selling rate

EUR or USD to an account with the same currency: 1.0% of the amount

CHF to a CHF account: 1.5% of the amount, min. CHF 30, max. CHF 100.

Order Limit


Order via a customer service representative: USD 25,000

Order via E-Banking/Mobile Banking/Multimat (per order): USD 15,000 (or equivalent)

2) In this service, GCHB acts as the counterparty and in its own interest.

Order in E-Banking

Log in to E-Banking.

Go to "Payments > Order Foreign Currency."

Follow the instructions and place your order.

You will receive the money by mail within 2 business days.
