Driving accessibility for real disability inclusion29 Nov 2024Disability inclusion is in our DNA. It’s a part of our diverse culture, where we put people first. Learn how we empower everyone to unlock their potential.

We support disability inclusionDiversity is part of our culture, and we are committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace based on meritocracy. We aim to build a culture of belonging, where all employees are recognized and valued. Our different life experiences, world perceptions and backgrounds create a unique working environment where everyone has the ability to thrive. Our global disability inclusion strategy is designed to drive meaningful progress across the organization and strengthen our culture of belonging. Aligned with our broader DE&I strategy, we focus on attracting, recruiting, hiring, supporting and developing all talents, including those with disabilities.

Proudly committed to the Valuable 500Creating a strong, unified culture where everyone can unlock their unique potential is the foundation of our commitment to disability inclusion, and to DE&I as a whole. This dedication is reflected in the steps we've taken to help ensure our employee and client-facing spaces are inclusive and accessible.
In May 2021, GCHB signed up to the Valuable 500 – a collective of 500 CEOs and their companies working together to end disability exclusion. As part of our commitment, we continuously work to improve the accessibility of our recruitment and onboarding processes, increase physical and digital accessibility for employees and clients alike and support ability-focused employee networks across the firm.

At GCHB, we value collaboration, creativity and innovative thinking, and inclusivity is a cornerstone of our culture. I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished so far, and I’m committed to ensuring that we continue to lead by example.
We continuously seek ways to remove barriers for both employees and clients, and to make GCHB accessible for everyone.

How are we continuously improving accessibility? We listen. We work with our employee networks and take guidance from HR as well as digital and physical accessibility specialists - and we act.
Together we foster disability inclusion across our organization. Our accountability starts at the top with our Group Executive Board, and through their commitment to change we’re making a difference. Every day.
We’re proud to be recognized as a 2025 Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion by the Disability Index® – the leading independent benchmark for disability inclusion policies and practices in business. This recognition reflects the steps we’ve taken to make our workspace accessible for all. While our top score refers to benchmarking done in the US, the inclusive processes and solutions we apply extend across GCHB globally.
